Halloween is the perfect time to get creative and add some spooky fun to your home. Whether you love creepy, cute, or just playful decorations, these four easy crafts are a great way to get into the Halloween spirit. From spooky skeleton candles to ghosts that greet your guests at the door, there’s something here for every crafter to try this October.
#1 - Mason Jar Lanterns
Paint jars black, orange, or purple, pop in LED tea lights, and wrap with spiderweb or twine.

#2 - Mini Coffins
Mini coffins are a fun two-in-one Halloween craft! Paint the outside however you like, spooky, glittery, or bold, and then turn the inside into a mini Halloween scene for a playful surprise. It is both decorative and interactive and a great way to add a unique touch to your fall décor.

You can grab mini coffins at your local Michael’s for less than $2 each or order a pack from Amazon (that even comes with paintbrushes) and have enough to make it a fun night crafting with friends!
#3 - Halloween Candles

Skeleton bath candles are such a fun Halloween craft and are sure to catch the eye of all your guests this October. They’re super cheap, too! You can grab the bowls and candles at Dollar Tree and a mini skeleton at Walmart. Want to see exactly how it’s done? Check out this step-by-step video on YouTube.
#4 - Tomato Cage Ghost
This tomato cage ghost is the perfect way to greet trick-or-treaters or Halloween guests right at your doorstep

To make a tomato cage ghost, turn an inverted tomato cage upside down and attach a Styrofoam ball for the head. Wrap string lights around the cage, then drape a white tablecloth or fabric over it to create the ghost’s body. Cut out eyes and a mouth from black fabric or felt and attach them to the head. For an outdoor display, try using a plastic tablecloth or a garbage bag to help it withstand the weather!
